What is Dapoxetine?

With the brand name of Priligy, Dapoxetine happens to be a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) pharmaceutical drug. It has got a strong market base for the treatment of premature ejaculation in men aged between 18 to 64 years. 

It was only in 2018, that Dapoxetine got the green signal of being used in the treatments of mental illnesses like depression and anxiety. It usually comes in combination with another drug called Sildenafil. Dapoxetine is a prescription drug and cannot be availed as an over-the-counter regular medicine, and not even to people who do not fall under the mentioned age group.


How does Dapoxetine work?
